Marvel's Daredevil is a Netflix Original that was originally released on April 10, 2015. Daredevil is a lawyer by day who's name is Matthew Murdock, and is a crime fighting vigilante by night. At a young age Matt was involved in an accident that leaves him blind, but his senses are extremely heightened. Matt's father was a boxer, who threw away his career and would throw his own fights to make an extra buck. His father decided to not throw a fight and he was murdered for it. Matt was taken in by a man named Stick, who is also blind with heightened senses, and he trained him how to use his senses to fight. Matt uses his training to become a vigilante in New York City. He gets caught up in a deal involving sex trafficking that involved young women. Matt fights the thugs and takes them all down with ease. Murdock becomes a feared vigilante in New York City who many believe is a hero that the city needs with all of the corruption, though many believe that a vigilante needs to get out of the way of the police and is a criminal himself interfering with crimes. Daredevil saves the city and many people from different foes and enemies, but some still don't believe in him. In my project I will be looking at the idea of Good vs Evil, and how vigilantes are looked at as a hero or in the way of law.  I chose this because Daredevil is easily my favorite show I've watched, and the concept of Good vs Evil and vigilantism plays not only a large role in the show, but in the other Netflix Marvel shows.
